A friend of mine told me a story about when he was a kid he was in the hospital & nearly dying. His grandmother came to the hospital & told a family member to go buy her a large onion & a new pair of white cotton socks. She sliced the onion open then put a slice on the bottom of each of his feet & put the white cotton socks on him. In the morning when he awoke they removed the socks. The slices of onion were black & his fever was gone. The following story that someone sent to me might have some truth in it & we are going to try it this winter.

In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu. Many of the farmers and their family had contracted it and many died.

The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion. It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.

Now, I heard this story from my hairdresser in AZ. She said that several years ago many of her employees were coming down with the flu and so were many of her customers. The next year she placed several bowls with onions around in her shop. To her surprise, none of her staff got sick. It must work.. (And no, she is not in the onion business.)

The moral of the story is, buy some onions and place them in bowls around your home. If you work at a desk, place one or two in your office or under your desk or even on top somewhere. Try it and see what happens. We did it last year and we never got the flu.

For flu cure: cut both ends off an onion put one end on a fork and then place the forked end into an empty jar...placing the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs...sure enough it happened just like that...the onion was a mess and I began to feel better.

Onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.

One more thing, never store cut onions and consume the next day.

A family in the Southern Province of China, were puzzled when the coffin of thier dead grandmother arrived from the States.
It was sent by one of the daughters. The dead body was so tightyly squeezed inside the coffin.

On Ah-ma's feet you will find a new pair of Nike Air shoes (size 10) for Ah boy. Also there are 2 pairs of shoes for Ah Mei's and Ah Lien's sons.. Hope the sizes are correct.. Ah-ma is wearing 6 Calvin Klein T-Shirts. The large size is for Ah Bak and the others are for my nephews. Just distribute them among yourselves. The 2 new Armani Jeans that Ah-ma is wearing are for 2nd uncle boys. The Rolex watch that Har Cheong wanted is on Ah ma's left wrist.

Aunty Pei Pei, Ah ma is wearing the Tiffany necklace, earrings and ring that you asked for. The 6 white Polo cotton socks that Ah ma is wearing are to be divided among my teenage cousins.

Let me know what else you need as Ah Kong (Grandpa) also not feeling well nowadays. I can send all required things when our Ah Kong goes back too...."

Do you compare the Meter reading on section 'DAHULU' (Red circle) with previous month?
In this case, the April bill on DAHULU section is 29128, SEMASA is 29380. After paid the bill, the problem come.... The May bill come, the DAHULU section by right should show 29380. BUT NOW, it still show 29128 same per last month.

If we don't compare with last month, frankly, I had HAPPILY paid for the bill and TNB had HAPPILY got the extra RM72 from me. At last, all the TNB shareholder got smart dividend from our hard earn money.

Due to this bad service....I plan to change service provider.
Opps...there is no alternate service provider. The alternate is buy your own generator, use candle...I guess no one will go for the alternative service provider....

So... please check your bill and compare it month by month.......I really compare the price always.....and notice the brilliant idea from TNB. I am not sure it is mistake? But I don't think is human error...

Now, better part is, this is computer error. If you don't discover this, then you pay for the EXTRA (this case, we got to pay extra RM72.80). If you notice the problem....easy, just refund to you, BUT do you know how time consuming and trouble to get the refund? Why their mistake is our cost? why there is no compensation on their mistake?

The BEST part, how many people know they are actually, happily OVER PAID?
When TNB officially want to increase the unit price....everybody jumping and compliant. How they going to get extra and no people complaint? This is an art....

This is the evolution of TNB billing system.....let the computer system do the mistake....and the mistake MUST FAVOURABLE to the company.

I just found out about an organic vegan fruit a month ago from an email, go figure. That just goes to say that we must all remain as students and continue to learn and learn — never stop studying and gaining new information.
Okay, so what did I learn?
I learned that sticker labels on the fruits actually tell you how the fruits have been grown — whether they were organically grown or conventionally grown with pesticides and herbicides; oh, and let's not forget about the genetically engineered fruits.

Conventional Fruit Labels

if you come across an apple in the store and it's labels4922, it's an conventional apple grown with herbicides and harmful fertilizers.

If it has a sticker 99222, it's organic and safe to eat.

If it says 89222, then RUN!!!! It has been genetically modified (GMO).

Yesterday was free at home, as planned, make my own ginger milk curd at home lah!...
first lets brief abit on what is Ginger Milk Curd first then show you how i make it ya!

Ginger milk curd (Chinese: 薑汁撞奶; Mandarin pinyin: jiāng zhī zhuàng nǎi; Cantonese Jyutping: goeng1 zap1 zong6 naai5), also known as ginger-juice milk curd or simply ginger milk, is a Chinese hot dessert originated in Shawan town of Panyu District, Guangzhou in the Guangdong Province in southern China. The main ingredients are ginger, milk, and sugar. Water buffalo milk is used in the original recipe.

Method of preparation
First, squeeze out the juice from a piece of ginger with a porous bag , then filter the juice finely and put into a bowl. Next, dissolve sugar in milk, then heat and stir. Underlying chemical principle
Ginger contains protease . When milk is added into ginger juice, protease reacts chemically with the protein in milk. Then, one kind of protein in milk would change from a water-soluble form to a water-insoluble form, and leads to the formation of milk curd.

FDA has found a poisonous chemical, diethylene glycol (DEG), in certain toothpastes imported from China. The agency increased its scrutiny and testing of imported toothpaste and dental products after receiving reports in late May 2007 of contaminated Chinese dental products found in several countries, including Panama.

The agency is warning consumers to avoid using tubes of toothpaste labeled as made in China and, through an import alert, is stopping all suspect toothpaste from entering the United States. FDA continues to investigate this problem and will take further action, as appropriate, to address this important public safety issue.

FDA has identified the following brands of toothpaste from China that have been found to contain a poisonous chemical called diethylene glycol (DEG). The products typically are sold at low-cost, “bargain” retail outlets.

The pattern,

Get up-->go to work--> pay bill-->spending--> get paid on job--> continue spending because get paid in job--> shopping-->apply credit card--> continue the cycle by increasing their spending….

Recently I was pause for a while for some self reading on why I am also in one of the financial problem cycle...

Below tips from a forum

1. Don’t buy depreciating items on credit (cellphones, cars, appliances, clothes, shoes, etc.) buy them in cash , save and wait till such time you can afford them. Settle for items you can only afford. At current market interest, your total payment is almost 3 times the selling price by the time you finished paying your amortization if you buy on credit, while the market value of your purchased item already went down to near 50% or more of the original price. ~die lah that is my bad habbit use credit card to buy all those staff....Err..eh..an earn point mah.!

2. Beware of marketing promos . There is no such thing as a “0” interest loan amortization . ellers actually included the interest in your monthly amortization but advertise 6 or 12 months “0” interest. If you want to buy a “0” interest item in cash, you should ask the seller to give you the “interest free” price or tell them to remove the “hidden interest” in exchange for cash purchase. Or ask for discounts for cash payments. ~ @#$%%^..^%*$^#%@ me always kena cheated..

3. Compare prices for the same item in different stores if you have time before actually buying . ~wah lao.. i got to DRIVE to Tesco from Jaya Jusco to compare the price, then DRIVE to Carreforre... then DRIVE to GIANT and come back to Jaya Jusco...?

4. Avoid impulse buying especially expensive items. Think it over for a day or two then decide if you really need it “now”. Control your spending habit. If you don’t , you will always complain your income is not enough. ~Damn it...I just bought a RM6K vacumn cleaner.......

5. Keep only ONE credit card, use it for convenience NOT for credit. Always pay the full amount once you get the bill. Choose a reliable credit card company . Sometimes you will encounter malfunctioning Point of Sale systems, tell the establishment to call the credit card company directly and then ask for approval via phone. As much as possible, always have cash on hand or in your ATM card and use it as the Credit card backup. ~die.. i think i can use my credit cardsss to play 'chor tai di'.......

6. Don’t get a Gold Credit Card if you are after the “being rich” perception. You will pay 2x the membership fee as the regular card . And your spending temptation will be 2x as powerful as well. ~ oh.. not worry.. i got another way to behaive i am rich one.....i got a traditional 29" TV but look like plasma TV at home....how?.. check out the photo at the left ....MUAHAHAhhahah...

7. Always save at least 20% of your income. Opportunity always comes, and usually those with “cash on hand” gets it. ~money not enough use liao.. always end up use the money plan to save in bank :(

8. Invest a percentage of your savings to generate more income. There is no harm in not investing and just playing safe on bank savings accounts, but your money will earn more if you invest. (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estates , start a business etc.) There are risks involved in investing money and sometimes you loose your investment. But the lesson learned in that failed investment is usually worth a lot more. Knowledge and experience gained is priceless in this information age. Start your investment activities while you are employed , it will prepare you in your retirement years. ~ ahhh.. this one i manage to do it.. i use my EPF account 1 for investment... eh.. dont ask me why i could do it lah.... hehheee... ok ok .. tell u lah! because i cannot take out EPF money from account 1 mah! muahhaahahahaa...(if i could take our maney from EPF u think i will invest those funds boh..?)

9. Be aware of “Get Rich-Quick” Investment scams. If the promised interest rate return on investment is “unusually large” compared to the actual market rate, most probably it is an investment scam. No legal business will pay you double or triple the current market interest rate . If somebody promised an interest rate of 5% or more per month, that will be a 60% interest rate per annum. No business can generate that big profit for their investors. It is usually a scam and they will use your investment money to pay the interest of the other investors . This is commonly called as “pyramiding” it will crumble at some point in time only the pyramid owner will be rich and ran off with your money. ~ya, i know it... i m in this line for more then 7 years ok...?! ask me more if u need some advise....not worry.. i dont scared u one.. just make u worry only... muahhahaa.....

10. Conduct garage sales at least every 2 years to dispose of your old-unwanted items and generate additional income. You will also learn a lot in the “garage sales process”. Your “garbage” is usually a precious item to others. Sell low and sell only those you think are worth buying. Donate those that are not . You will get a good reputation as seller and will be usually successful in your other future “selling activities”. Donate or give for free all unsold items at the end of your garage sale. You will feel great happiness – and that is priceless. ~ Old...News..Paper.... 11. Work hard and be a responsible employee. You will be financially rewarded accordingly when your business grows as a result of your collective hard work. A good work attitude is contagious and will always bring harmony in the work place. ~ya right.. every year with the peanut increment....

12. Live within your means. Never mind if you have old clothes, old shoes, old cars, old and in-expensive cellphones/appliances , small house in a non-exclusive area, etc. because it is what you can afford for now. It is much better than having all the new luxuries that you can’t afford and then crack your brains every pay day thinking how to pay all your bills and loans. This is called “pay-check to pay-check” living. A lot of people have fallen to this “trap” mostly brought about by credit companies and bank loans (credit cards, loan sharks, etc.) We all make mistakes and had experienced this lifestyle brought about by modern living one time or another. The more important this is to learn from our mistakes. ~yes, that is true... no wonder i m still in financial problem lah...

2nd ghost : Actually, I was imprisoned in the refrigerator. Initially, I was shivering, then my whole body started to freeze, later I felt the whole world was dark and I died. Fortunately, I died with not much sufferings.

1st ghost : I died from heart attack.

1st ghost : Actually, I found out that my wife is having an affair with another man. One day, when I came back from work, saw a pair of man shoes outside my house. Then, I realized that the guy was in my house with my wife. When I rushed into the bedroom, my wife was alone. I must find where that bastard is hiding. So I searched the toilet, I ran downstairs, looked in the storeroom, but the bastard was not there. So, I ran upstairs and searched the wardrobe, but I found nothing. Because I was too tired of all that running,I got a heart attack and died.

2nd ghost : Why didn't you look for the bastard in the fridge? If you did, both of us were alive now!!

Below is a list of offences over the past few months all verified by our surveillance cameras:

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's trolleys when they weren't looking.
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to feminine products aisle.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone, "Code 3" in housewares..... and watched what happened.
5. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
6. September 15: Set up a tent in the outdoor clothing department and told shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring sausages and a Calor gas stove.
7. September 23: When the Deputy Manager asked if she could help him, he began to cry and asked, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"
8. October 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a mirror, picked his nose, and ate it.
9. November 10: While appearing to be choosing kitchen knives in the Housewares aisle asked an assistant if he knew where the anti depressants were.
10. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.
11. December 6: In the kitchenware aisle, practised the "Madonna look" using different size funnels.
12. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed, yelled "PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"
13. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, assumed the foetal position and screamed "NO! NO! It's those voices again."

And; last, but not least:

14. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited a while; then yelled, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here."

Fake 50 sen coin for parking...

What I would like to share with you all today is about an incident happen when pay for parking fee in Klang.

This was happen when pay for parking fee (normally 50 sen in Klang, 60 sen in Petaling Jaya and 40 sen in Shah Alam for an hour). You will encounter everything seemed to be fine. The machine printed out a parking coupon and displaying the coupon at the vehicle's dashboard. Then went to perform your errands nearby....

When a officer from Klang Municipal Council (MPK) drop by to check on the validation of parking coupon. Somehow the summon was issued for the the car..

Of course you will take the coupon and the summon copy to argue lah.. (to prove that you got pay the parking mah)

Later you found out that the 50 sen coin that used to pay for the parking fee was a fake coin.

How to determine that the 50 sen coin is fake? I not sure the parking coupon machine is so ADVANCE not lah! But look like the machine can do…

How do the MPK officer know that the we had use the fake coin to pay the parking coupon?

YES, take a look at the picture below :- “TOKEN” printed means that the coins used are fake. So lady and gentlemen don’t pandai pandai go and use the dummy coin at EVERYWHERE loh! Hahhahaa….

This story was happening in Petaling Jaya. ehhh.. dont ask me where i get the source lah! true or false you all just be prepared to be alert at all times lah especially for those who like to stay out jln jln for shopping during this coming weekend long holiday!

Just thought to let you all know what the doctor told recently.

The clinic is in SS2 (Petaling Jaya) and you know how congested that place is.One morning a few months ago in broad daylight, a girl was getting into her car when a few men approached her with what looked like atorchlight. Quite harmless looking. They pressed the "torchlight" into her back and immediately she went limp and collapsed pale. So she wouldn't be able to fight back, they slashed her thigh with aparang and sped away in her car. There were many people around and they quickly took her to thenearest clinic which was my doctor's clinic. There were two doctors at that time and they managed to stitch up her wound but the girl remained pulse-less and still pale as paper. No pulse, no BP (blood pressure). Just like dead. The doctors were confused as to how one wound on the thigh made the girl almost like dead? They managed to revive her and save her life. After some checking around, the doctors found out what actually happened was that the girl was made unconscious not by a torchlight but actually a high voltage weapon. Forgot how many watts liao lah... 1000? Anyway, it was high enough to kill a person by electrocution. It seems this weapon is from China. It's not rampant yet in Malaysia, but with this thing, a person can rob, rape, kill, kidnap, and practically do anything to you. My doctor said that if the girl weren't taken to the clinic immediately she would have died because there was nopulse on her. So please just beware of your surroundings, if anybody is lurking around with a torchlight-thingy and approaches you, just scream or runaway. Better to be embarrassed than ZAPPED and fried, right?

Directions to go there you will have to take the elevator up (heard is the longest escalator in the world) to the Mid-Levels. You'll see an "exit" for Lyndhurst Terrace. Tai Cheung Bakery will be situated on the right when you go down the stairs.

Heard ppl from the blog said the Tai Cheong bakery was close down on year 2005 due to high rent......

Last week end thought of going to SS2 PJ for dinner, found a restaurant named One Noodle, the outlet make me remember of Dragon-I that i eat before, hahhahaa.. theny selling Xiao Loong Bau also, then dicided to drop in for a good taste, compare the Xiao Long Bau that i had taste before....

Dragon-I selling One basket(4pcs) of 4 at RM8, and the One Noodel selling RM6 for One basket (4pcs), Price compare, One Noodle is cheaper, but TASTE still Dragon-I nice!!!

So, the conclusion is, Dragon-I still the best in town for Xiao Long Bau!!

I remember my pastor told me a story about the shoe years ago…

Once in a shoe company, a manager called both of the new joined sales man Mr Positive and Mr Negative and ask them to travel to Africa to see if any business opportunity out there..

10 paths to sweet dreams
If you're hitting the snooze button most mornings, falling asleep in front of the TV at 3am, waking up in the middle of the night or finding yourself tired and irritable during the day, it's time to get serious about getting shuteye.

1. Clear your space.
Make sure the place where you sleep is only used for sleep and 'X' (ok ok ! don't make don't understand and ask what is 'X' mean here..later i go ask your ma ma to tell u ...): Don't let the TV and computer in your bed room. If you live in a studio or rented room, turn off everything you can and drape them to avoid being distracted by light or hum. Put the remote where you can't pick it up, and don't watch TV right before bed.... for me hor, one day din watch TV, I cannot sleep one :(

2. Keep regular hours.
Going to bed and getting up at the same time every day help your body into a natural rhythm. It also helps if you can look at bright light (the sun, or a bright full-spectrum light) when you get up in the morning. Note: Yes, this does mean that staying up late and sleeping in on weekends can mess up your sleep cycle for the week. Ohh..! I thought i could sleep longer hour during the weekend to replace the pass whole week been staying late night...?

3. Find a relaxing routine.
If counting sheep is lulling to you, do it -- but don't start counting the things to do in the morning, or even fun things like your weekend plans. Try to create a quiet space in your mind. Some training in meditation or relaxation therapy can help if you're having trouble getting there on your own. i wish i could :(

4. Black it out.
Lights, noise and stimuli can keep even the sleepiest person awake. Some people are fine with earplugs, while others may need white noise (and if you grew up in the city, you might find that a very silent room keeps you awake). Same thing with lights: Close the blinds, invest in heavy drapes if you can -- and find yourself an eye mask if there's still light in the room. Bright light just before bedtime can even stimulate your brain into thinking it's morning, so keep things dim while you're trying to sleep. ghooss.. i always could not fine my spec. to pee in the middle of the night.....too dark....

5. Skip the nightcap.
Alcohol may send you into a stupor, but it keeps your body from falling into the deeper sleep stages. Once the initial drowsiness wears off your body, you're also apt to jolt awake -- not to mention having to get up to pee. Alcohol will also aggravate sleep apnea and even cause you to snore when you normally don't. no beer how to sleep leh?

6. Move the clock.
Anxiety about missing out on sleep can actually make insomnia worse. Take the clock out of your room or turn it to face the wall. 'ti tat ..ti tat.. ti tat.....'

7. Take a look at your workout.
Regular exercise can get your body into a good sleep cycle, but don't work out right before bedtime, or you'll stay amped. Give yourself at least three hours before bed to calm down. ...go disco consider exercise boh?

8. Be cool.
Though it may sound cozy to be toasty, falling asleep usually occurs after a drop in body temperature -- which is why hot baths, warm milk or sex in the early evening can help you feel sleepy a little while later, when your thermostat falls. Herbal tea an hour before bedtime (rather than right before bedtime) can help. Make sure your bedroom's no hotter than 70 degrees if you can. ....cool...fu yoooo....!

9. Walk away from the Starbucks.
If you had trouble sleeping the night before, your first impulse may be to grab an extra cup of coffee in the afternoon. But caffeine takes 15-45 minutes to reach peak levels, and can stay in your body for up to 8 hours -- more if you're unusually sensitive. Cut back on the joe at least 8 hours before bedtime, and see what happens at night if you can manage to go a whole day without it. .... no problem i don't go Starbucks one...but mamak....

10. Get up.
That's right, get up. If you can't get to sleep for more than 30 minutes, get out of bed and do something. All the above rules still apply -- that is, avoid TV and the computer, don't turn on a bright light, don't drink and don't work out. Light a candle and meditate, or do something else that usually makes you drowsy. ...correct boh, i normally go watch TVB series then only can sleep one...

If you've done all the above to help change your sleep cycle, continuing sleep problems can either be caused by or aggravate depression or anxiety. You could also have sleep apnea or another disorder. If you're finding you're regularly taking over 30 minutes to fall asleep or are awake for more than 30 minutes in the middle of the night, see a doctor. You may need a new diagnosis, or adjustment of your current meds.

Report from Wellington 27/3, The GlaxoSmithKline was summons NZ$217,000 (RM546,000) for being confuse the consumer the product have vitamin C !

Ribena didenda dakwa mengandungi vitamin C
WELLINGTON 27 Mac – Pengeluar produk kesihatan antarabangsa, GlaxoSmithKline hari ini didenda RM546,000 (NZ$217,000) kerana iklan yang mengelirukan selepas dua pelajar sains mendapati minuman kodialnya yang popular, Ribena sebenarnya tidak mengandungi vitamin C.

Syarikat multinasional itu mengaku bersalah atas 15 dakwaan menyiarkan iklan yang mengelirukan antara tahun 2002 hingga 2006.
Pengakuan itu dibuat dalam saman yang difailkan oleh sebuah badan pemerhati pengguna, Suruhanjaya Perdagangan selepas sebuah projek sains sekolah pada tahun 2004 mendedahkan dakwaan palsu tersebut.

Ribena telah lama dijual sebagai minuman kesihatan berdasarkan iklan yang mendakwa jus buah beri itu mengandungi lebih banyak vitamin C daripada jus oren.

Iklan GlaxoSmithKline di negara ini mendakwa jus Ribena yang sedia diminum mengandungi tujuh miligram vitamin C bagi setiap 100 mililiter.

Bagaimanapun pelajar sekolah tinggi, Anna Devathasan dan Jenny Suo yang ketika itu berusia 14 tahun mendapati Ribena hampir tidak mengandungi sebarang vitamin C selepas menguji minuman berasaskan sirap itu sebagai sebahagian projek sains mereka pada tahun 2004.

Hakim Mahkamah Daerah Auckland, Phil Gittos mendenda GlaxoSmithKline dan mengarahkan syarikat itu untuk membetulkan iklannya selain menyiarkan mesej berkaitan di laman webnya. Kedua-dua pelajar terbabit turut hadir di mahkamah bagi mendengar keputusan tersebut.

“Kami berasa agak bangga dan begitu teruja. Sekiranya kami tidak melakukan ujian sains itu tiga tahun lalu, Ribena mungkin dipromosikan selama-lamanya sebagai kaya dengan khasiat vitamin C,” kata Devathasan kepada National Radio.

Devathasan berpendapat denda yang dikenakan sepatutnya lebih tinggi kerana GlaxoSmithKline adalah sebuah syarikat yang mengaut keuntungan berbilion dolar.
Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Perdagangan, Paula Rebstock menyifatkan kedua-dua remaja itu sebagai sumber inspirasi sebenar kepada semua orang di suruhanjaya itu.

Firefly, a fully owned subsidiary of MAS to fly six routes

Another low-cost carrier called Firefly will take to the skies from April 2. It will be based at the Penang International Airport.

FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd, a 100% subsidiary of MAS, will initially fly six routes.
The routes are from Penang to Langkawi, Kota Baru, Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan for the domestic destinations and from Penang to Koh Samui and Phuket for the regional destinations.
For a start, the airline will use two 50-seater Fokker planes to fly to Phuket and Koh Samui seven times a week, while it will fly 14 times weekly to Kota Baru, Kuala Terengganu, Kuantan and Langkawi.

As for the airfare, MAS managing director Idris Jala said: “It will start from as low as RM9, slightly more than the price of a plate of nasi kandar.”
In presenting the operating licence to Idris at his office here yesterday, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy said the new airline would promote Penang as the country’s hub for low-cost carriers in the northern region.

“Except for the Penang-Langkawi routes, the domestic destinations are currently not being serviced by any other airline, so Firefly will fill the niche and boost connectivity in the north.
“This connectivity will further boost tourist arrivals, particularly to achieve our 20 million target during Visit Malaysia 2007, as well as enhance economic development within the Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand growth area in the long term.

“MAS’ decision to set up this carrier is the result of earlier discussions between the airline and the ministry on how they can improve their network for the Visit Malaysia Year,” he told reporters after the weekly Cabinet meeting.

With Firefly joining the stable, the country will now have six airlines. The others are Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Berjaya Air, Transmile and Fly Asian Xpress.
Idris said Firefly – tagged the community airline – was aimed at serving people staying in places previously not served by any airline.

Malaysia’s sixth airline: Chan presenting Firefly’s operating licence to Idris in Putrajaya yesterday. The new airline will be based at the Penang International Airport.“But MAS cannot do it because of the higher operating costs for us. So we have to set up this new airline.
“It will be a win-win situation for everybody. However, this airline will have an entirely new managing team and business model, all of which will be announced on March 17 in Penang,” he said, adding that MAS expects to achieve profit from the Firefly's operations from next year.

Well, I guess most of us are using Windows XP as the operating system for your PC. According to Microsoft website, the official minimum requirements for Windows XP Professional edition are CPU with 233MHz and 128MB memory.

Have you ever wonder how low can the CPU speed and memory to be enough to run a Windows XP? I just come across a webpage demonstrating a Minimal-requirement-Test (http://winhistory.de/more/386/xpmini_eng.htm) to see how low the computer system specification can be to support Windows XP.

by looking at the pic below, you will got a supprise that the Windows XP can run under 32MB!!!

hahhaaa.. but dont hope that with this hardware spec you will be able to play your computer game neither any standard application smoothly...

For your infor, just in case you don’t know, the new launch of the minimum memory requirement for Windows OS, Windows Vista is 512MB memory and a graphics processor that is DirectX 9 capable. Manage to find some screen shot from several website for you all to have a quick 'feel' of it..

Today i found a interesting segatoys.com for mp3 fever.. below are the pic i get from the side :-

dimension of 116×107x100 and weighted 170g. It operates on 3 AAA batteries.
When you press its noce or move its tail, iDog will play you some melodies while flashing you with combination of LEDs colours. It will shake its head and move its ears . cute hor.. wonder why japan always famouse with come out such cute cute thingy...

The Famous Pork Noodle in Subang Jaya

If you are familiar with Subang Jaya area, this shop should not hard to find. The pork noodles stall is actually in a corner coffee house called Quilin, there are some other stalls selling roasted chicken, wantan mee, chap fan etc... but I believe most people come here because of the pork noodles. Dont forget to bring ur newspaper, magazine or fully charge ur HandPhone battery for the games while waiting for the noodle to come, it take at least more then half an hour to deliver to your desk ler...

The pork noodles soup come with sliced pork, minced pork, pig's liver, egg and vegetables (choy sam). For the noodles you have a choice of mee, beehoon, koay teow and sometimes you can get lou su fan. They dont serve knolo ( "dry" noodles mixed with varous souces)

The toilets which cost a whooping RM400,000, are made up of two sections; giving users the choice of using a squatting bowl or a sitting pan. Guess from the Picture below Im sure that everyone of you know where it is located right? hehehee...It’s located in front of a McDonald’s outlet in Jalan Bukit Bintang.

The cost to use this toilet is RM1, and you are allowed 15 minutes after which the door will AUTOMATICALLY open! hahahhaa..... but you can try to put in 20-30 sen to see what will happen...! hehehee...

The toilet has plenty of space inside. There is a section for diaper changing, seats for waiting and it’s also equiped with handicapped-friendly features. You do not need to panic if something weird happened to you while you are doing your business in there, because there is an emergency button… hahahahhaa....the toilet design thoughtful or not?

The Powerfull Air Conditioning system in the toilet.. wonder still can 'bangsai' in such a cold situlation or not?

The smart toilet comes with an automatic seat cleaner capable of washing, scrubbing and drying the seat after every use.

There are 10 more units which will be located in and near Wisma Denmark, Shahzan Tower, Conlay Square, Jalan Ampang, Medan Pasar, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, Central Market, Sogo and Jalan Raja Laut. Wonder why the govement interested to spend money for such an expensive toilet cost? Could they do WONDER for : The petrol price high jam increase last year,*(why never heard the petrol price decrease ?) ...... the high jump about 60sen-70sen toll fees increase on few days ago....the waste of big project ......sigh...............

Last week been travel alot with my wife, now it is a good time to pay more attention to my wife, she been going around with me since 1998 and so far no 'complain' lah! *touch wood....

9 years till now still in good condition lah! hehehehee.. see who is her husbond lah! take care of her always mah!

Yesterday decided to bring my wife to clean clean with the snow snow lah! she is so happy untill cough caugh non-stop while driving her back home.....

I think she got cold already, will bring her to see Doctor on weekend :(
And this workshop car wash at Shah Alam so far is the most reasonable price i think...Snow snow and suck suck cost RM8 only...

Last week we having a great time at this restaurant. Really peng, leng , cheng... the cost for all is RM150 only :)

This sea food pot is the most expensive one... but worth it.. got so many 'expensive' sea food in it :)

I guess this story been post or forwarding around quite sometimes, as now it still a good joke.

Sometime back, Mahathi went on holiday and Badawi was left in charge.Since Mahathi was not around Badawi decided to throw some weigh around to show that he is the BOSS now. The day before Mahathi left, he went on an expensive shopping spree. At Lot3, he spotted a very expensive branded T-shirt with a distinctive wordacross the chest - Hugo BOSS. He bought it and wore to office the very nextday, revealing the word BOSS to everyone.

Suay Suay (unfortunately), Mahathi delayed his flight because of his wife's headache and decided to go back to office to do some work. When he stepped into his office, he caught Badawi by surprise. Badawi then was sitting with his cross-legs up the table, arms behind his head, unbutton coat with the word BOSS right across his chest. Upon seeing Mahathi he quickly try to cover up with his coat. Mahathi realizing what was happening, he said: "It's OK, it's OK Badawi, I'm on leave you can carry on."

Of course Mahathi was furious and went also to LOT 3 to look for something to teach his deputy a lesson. He thought of an idea and bought a branded T-shirt too, to counter Badawi's by wearing it to office that very afternoon without a coat. Guess what's the brand?

Had read some info from the World Toilet Organization, I learnt ....

An average person visits the toilet 2500 times a year. About 6-8 times a day. You spend about 3 years of your life in the toilet.

Poor toilet condition is a worldwide problem. More than half of the world population have no proper sanitation.

Suppression of urination due to dirty toilets can lead to kidney and bladder diseases. In order to avoid visting public toilets, Some people refrain from drinking and suffer dehydration.

Most toilets are designed incorrectly.

Female takes 3 times longer than male, yet both toilet sizes are often same.

Toilet remains as a 'taboo' as people are shy to discuss the subject.

Twin egg yoke!!

This morning i tot of having my half boil egg egg for my breakfast.. then wake up, go down to my kitchen to boil hot hot water lah, then go back up to bath room to wash wash my teeth.
After change my cloth, then go back to the kitchen to poor the hot water to boil boil my lovely egg fresh from fridge lah!

Wah.. see what i get? DOUBLE egg yoke leh.. must go buy 4ekor liao!!
