The local Chinese community has many famous delicacies as well. One of them is 'Heong Peang' or ‘香饼’, which has a crispy layer outside and contain a mixture of malt sugar, sesame etc. There are many brand in town, Tiger Brand lah, Butterfly brand lah.. i had compare the rest de... just go n try this brand with no regret..
Another famous delicacy in Teluk Intan is the 'Liew Kee 燎记Chee Cheong Fun' (猪肠粉), a variation of the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun which contains turnip instead of eaten plain. Generous amount of dried prawns and “choy poh” and to be taken just with prickled green chillies, - no sauce except. The place is quite run-down .It is one of the stalls along the street that is beside the chinese temple. Try another stall of Chee Cheong Fun too, named Sam Xiu Yea'三少爷' selling at the town food court. It added the fried galic taste. Nice chee cheong fun gotta go at night.(Wonder malaysian eating habbit so wierd? Bak Kut Teh got to eat in the morning and Chee Cheong Fun got to eat at night??)
亚仔Rojak, A salad made of sengkuang, mango, cucumber, pineapple, kangkong, bean sprouts, with a rich peanut shrimp sauce. The secret to good rojak lies mainly in the gravy, 亚仔Rojak gravy originally look pink, They mix with top-quality hay kor (虾膏) then become brownish, which they then blend with other ingredients and cook with diluted tamarind juice. Added roasted belacan, sweet sauce and sesame seeds. Eh... dont pandai pandai want to grab my rojak when ur plate had not finish yet, mine one added my saliva already....! (saliva none stop flow out when the rojak serve infront of me..) :P~
Last one, the Curry Chicken Pao in Teluk Intan(Sew Bang Tong Coffee Shop苏明东茶室), guess this is the only special they hold the curry chicken with curry gravy in the pao with cooking aluminium paper. Something different I cant get it from KL yet. The Choy Pao also very nice, but DONT try the Char Siu Pao.. I dont think you will like the stinky pork smell, WHY? hehehe.. leave me a comment and I will tell u why... The shop start selling the Pao only at 1pm and finish at 3pm if u lucky u will get it after 3pm else those kiasu ppl like ME will grab all finish..hahhahaa..... you might say "..aii.. make more lah, so good business!!" But they make the pao in a certain number of quantity in a day only... you must be wondering, how come the opening hour so odd one? Thought ppl eat dim sum in the morning?? hahhaaa.. Maybe this curry chicken pao owner Ah Tong wake up to make the pao in the morning only...yes, it is very fresh, I pack the Curry Chicken Pao back to KL and left it in the fridge for 2 days.. reheat it and still taste good!!

6) I listen to soft music like yanni, new age, instrument and enya while on the bed. Hmmm.. when i can swing my wings and fly on top hah??
